Best burgers in the state! And the service was just about perfect! [stay away from the onion rings - they're addictive!]

Great waitstaff. Good food. Ribs, brisket and turkey were delicious. We shared one of the big combo meals. It was plenty for two people. Ordered additional ribs because they were melt in your mouth delicious. The rub on the meat was good, but I prefer a St. LOUIS barbeque sauce.

We came west and one of the things we were looking for was good BBQ. In Tucson look no further! The four pork rib dinner and two sides were delicious. The meat slid off the bone, tender and flavorful. Mac & cheese, barbecue baked beans and an assortment of draft beer to wash it all down! Great service and no need to dress up.

We arrived about 6:00 PM and the server let us know all the stuff that they were out of. Luckily it wasn't everything so we were able to get a great meal. Everything was very good. The server had a bit of sass and we enjoyed that. The ambiance is functional and pleasant. I think if you get there a little earlier in the evening you'll have more choices on the menu. I look forward to going back.

Holy Smokin Butts is probably the best BBQ this side of Tucson. The meats are cooked just right, I especially like their brisket (moist vs lean). The platters are a great way to try out a few different meats so that you can gauge what you like, and what to order for future visits(and you will keep coming back!--it is that good). The pork belly sandwiches are really good here too and the variety in bbq sauces as well. Personally, I like the mix of the Sweet with the Spicy bbq sauce--flavors complement the meats really well. For drinks, I really liked that they have a prickly pear cider on draft as well as other local beers. The service is really nice and I appreciate that they have a whiteboard upfront that shows whether they're low or have ran our of certain meats...as for the ambiance, I like the no nonsense layout of the restaurant inside and they small booths and big tables for larger groups as well. Certain days/nights I think there is live music here but not 100% sure as I haven't been to any of these events, but def have been here multiple times enjoying the best bbq on the east side.

First time customer, grabbed the pulled pork sandwich today with a side of Mac N Cheese and their beans. Pork was lean, punching with flavor. Their sauce selection was tasty (believe 5 or 6 on the table, nice to have multiple choices) - also sauce containers were clearly fresh and clean to include the nozzles. I'm staying neutral on the Mac N' Cheese, fell a little flat for our group - in the Styrofoam and likely tossed in a microwave before heading out of the kitchen. Realize not likely 'Tex style, but a panko encrusted top and a moment under the broiler could really up the mac 'n cheese game. Conversely the beans were extra delicious, and I appreciate the sides come in various sizes which is nice option if you choose to order your favorite side in a slightly larger quantity. One hick-up was the bun, way too buttery or oily - not certain. While this did not detract from the many positives, I'd like to see whatever ingredient making that bun 'shine' like the sun walked back, just a bit. Inside super clean and took me back to the mid 80's with the floor layout. As a teen, I used to jockey an all-you-can eat booth for 2-3 hours after navigating what at the time felt like an endless buffet line...You can still see hints of the iconic Gordo's in the shadows. Beer selection was decent, with a nut brown (Oak Creek), a couple IPAs plus 3 or 4 others on draft, and glasses of red / white available for the non-beer drinkers. Finally, Jackie as the host was welcoming and friendly and our server Shawna - did not miss a beat. There were 4 of us, and she was always there when you needed her, and not when you didn't. Great service. Bottom line, will be back

Smoking buttholes BBQ is fire fam! I haven't felt this kinda goodness since Sunday school. I would legit pull my pants down and open-mouth kiss a horse for their brisket. It do be like dat. 5 stars and 24 karats

Review for Holy Smokin Butts BBQ *Rating: 5 out of 5 *Address: 6940 E Broadway Blvd *Hours: Sun-Mon: Closed Tues-Thurs: 11-7pm Fri-Sat: 11-8pm # of people eating: 2 adults and 1 toddler. Atmosphere: Very clean and inviting, Ac worked great it was definitely nice and cool inside. (Very important to me especially being 34 weeks pregnant!) Staff: The nice gentleman opened the door for us as we're coming in and greeted us and sat us down quickly. It was a tad busy and 2 ladies were working the floor and was trying to keep up. I'd say they were doing pretty dang good! Waitress checked on us a few times to make sure the food was good and if we needed anything. The nice gentleman opened the door for us on our way out as well and was very kind. Also told him he looked like Aaron Kaufman *Food: *Pulled pork sandwich: Absolutely amazing and tender, I threw some bbq sauce all over it with some ranch and it was soooo good! (I'm pregnant don't judge ) *Fries: Very yummy and definitely REAL potatoes haha! Delicious with ranch *Brisket: VERY tender and delicious and the fat on it made it even better! Perfection! *Mac and cheese: cheesy and yummy as my child said. *What was ordered with prices: *My friends order: Brisket Plate $17 Water $0 Total with tax: $18.48 *My order with my child: 8oz Mac and cheese $5 Small fry $3 Pink lemonade $2.75 Pulled pork sandwich $10 Large fry $4 Root Beer $2.75 Total with tax: $29.90 To add: Portions were great and prices were really good! Normally I spend $30-$35 just on myself when I go out to eat so $30 for me and my child is prettt dang good if I do say so myself.

The family feast was perfect for our group- able to choose up to four meats ( two lbs total). We tried the brisket, pork belly and pulled pork which came with two 32oz sides and buns ( that you can get toasted and buttered- which is a yes!). All the meats were cooked to perfection- moist and could be eaten stand alone or with bbq sauce. Decent bbq sauces ( I'm impartial to KC bbq) but this was good stuff! Service was quick and food doesn't take too long to get to your table. Ample seating.
